Half A Glass Is Not So Bad

Half glass
Half glass

I have accepted that I am a half glass kind of girl; this is not a terrible thing.

I have had my share of struggles in starting a business with new tasks and responsibilities. I did all I needed to do to obtain licenses. I learned the business and identified my goals. What next?

I started my business from scratch. I had no clients and a limited budget. I started with an empty glass.

I was advised to get out and meet people. I joined several business networking groups. I began to prospect with focus on people that had a need for my services. I then found clients and the items in my glass began to gradually grow.

I admit that my glass is not full. I am better than I was when I first started . However, I have a ways to go and grow.

I am fully aware. I have learned that networking and prospecting is needed but there are still things I need to do to grow. I am working on consistency in following up with good prospects. I learned that building trust is important with prospects. I especially need to believe in myself and my ability to generate business.
