So how do your emotions run on pay day.? Are you relieved and happy? Or are you depleted and defeated?

Pay day is income, which is your biggest wealth building tool. Pay day means you can pay your bills. Pay day often means you have extra money after paying the bills. What do you do with that extra money?

You need to have a plan with your earning and spending. If you fail to budget , there will likely be problems. Pay day can be dreadful if you run out of money to pay all your house hold needs. One candy bar is fine, but excess spending in even one area can be devastating. A budget helps you set limits to your spending.

I get sad when I hear people say their pay check is already spent a week prior to pay day. If this is you, what area of spending can you reduce? What subscription can you cancel that you are not using? You can gain control over your spending. The first step of changing your spending habits is awareness. The worst thing you can do is go into more debt when you can manage your money.
